You weren’t meant to build alone.
Slow-Working Sessions: Working Well In Community.
Quarterly co-working mornings where purpose-driven entrepreneurs make meaningful progress, find genuine connection, and remember that building a business doesn't have to feel lonely.
First Friday of each month | 9am - 1pm | Theia Studios, Woy Woy
You're building something meaningful. But most days, you're doing it completely alone.
You sit at your desk with a million things to do and no idea where to start. That task you've been avoiding for weeks? Still sitting there. The content you need to create? Still blank. The strategy work that would actually move your business forward? Keeps getting pushed to "next week." At home, it’s just you. No one to bounce ideas off. No one who gets the unique challenges of solo entrepreneurship. No one to remind you that slow, intentional work is valid when everything online screams "do more, post more, hustle harder."
And, you're so tired of:
Working in isolation and wondering if you're doing it "right"
Procrastinating on important tasks because there's no accountability
Feeling scattered and unable to focus without structure
Performing productivity instead of making real progress
Trying to fit into hustle culture when your body is asking you to slow down
The silence is deafening. The vibe? non-existent. You’re craving connection and inspiration with other humans doing purposeful work — but where are they all?
Slow-Working Sessions are monthly co-working experiences where 6-8 purpose-driven entrepreneurs come together for four hours of intentional productivity, genuine connection, and sustainable work.
This isn't a typical co-working space. And that's exactly the point.
This is my Flow State Creative philosophy, in practice:
Work WITH your natural rhythm, not against it
Make progress without burning out
Find community without performative networking
Prove that slow, intentional work creates real results
You'll leave with actual progress made AND the energy to enjoy your afternoon.
Because that's what working well actually looks like.
The Experience
-
9:00am - Arrive & Settle (20 min) Choose your work zone. Grab refreshments. Ground into the morning with a brief opening circle. Set your intention for what you'll work on today.
9:20am - Deep Work Block One (80 min) First focused work period. No distractions. Just you, your task, and the collective energy of others doing the same. I'm available for questions and support.
10:40am - Pause & Stretch (10 min) Gentle movement. Breathwork. Step outside. Reset your body and mind.
10:50am - Deep Work Block Two (80 min) Second focused period. Momentum builds. Flow states emerge. Keep going with your task or pivot if needed.
12:10pm - Lunch & Waterfront Walk (40 min) Share lunch together. Walk along Woy Woy waterfront. This is where community building happens—organic conversations, genuine connection, ideas flowing. No forced networking, just natural relating.
12:50pm - Wrap & Reflect (10 min) Close together. Share what you accomplished (or struggled with—both valid). Leave feeling grounded and connected.
1:00pm - Session Ends Your afternoon is yours. You've made real progress. You feel energised, not drained.
Notice What's Not Here
No back-to-back tasks. No rushed timelines. No pressure to perform.
This is intentionally spacious. You'll have over 2.5 hours of deep work time, but also plenty of room to breathe, move, and be human.
The pace is steady, not frantic. That's the whole point.

Theia, Woy Woy
Fair warning: This isn't a fancy co-working space with standing desks and unlimited coffee.
It's grassroots. A little improvised. Completely conducive to creative thinking and genuine connection.
Think creative studio meets living room—beautiful, real, resourceful. The kind of space where your best ideas actually show up.
Choose your setup:
Trestle tables for traditional desk work
Coffee table style setups
Comfortable couches
Floor cushions for those who prefer working closer to the ground
The vibe: Creative. Warm. Grounded. Walking distance to local cafes and steps from the waterfront.
This isn't trying to replicate a corporate office. We're creating the kind of space where meaningful work happens naturally.
But yes, we have wifi, powerpoints, tunes, tea, snacks and filtered water.
-

✓ Mindfulness & grounding practices to start and close the session

-
Come with 1-2 tasks you've been putting off that can be completed or significantly progressed during the morning.
This is about deep work, not task-switching.
Examples of great session work:
Business strategy and forward planning
Content creation (writing captions, scheduling posts)
Website copy updates or messaging refinement
Brand identity development
Planning events, launches, or workshops
Brainstorming new offers or pivoting existing ones
Newsletter and email sequence creation
Asset creation (graphics, templates, marketing materials)
Crafting campaigns or marketing plans
Project work requiring sustained focus
Creative thinking and problem-solving
Not ideal for this session:
Client calls (this is protected time)
Administrative tasks that require constant interruptions
Work that needs absolute silence (this is community space)
-
You're a solo entrepreneur working primarily in isolation
You value health and wellbeing alongside business success
You're tired of hustle culture and want to work more intentionally
You have projects that feel easier with gentle accountability
You want supportive community while moving your business forward
You're curious about how slowing down might help you get more done
You're multidimensional and refuse to fit into boxes
You believe sustainable work is the only kind worth building
-
You need a silent library environment with zero conversation
You're looking for traditional business networking
You want to power through massive to-do lists at breakneck speed
You need to take client calls during the session
You're not willing to stay for the full 4 hours (it disrupts the container)
You prefer working completely alone
-
To protect the container and everyone's experience:
→ No client calls during the session—this is protected time for your own work
→ Not a silent space—respectful conversation is encouraged for cross-pollination of ideas
→ Headphones welcome—use them if you need focused silence
→ Stay for the full session—arriving late or leaving early disrupts the collective energy (9am-1pm)
→ Come ready to connect—this is about community as much as productivity
-
Essentials:
Laptop/tablet and charger
1-2 tasks you've been putting off
Headphones (for music or focus if needed)
Optional but encouraged:
Whatever makes you feel comfortable (favorite mug, journal, cozy socks)
Your own snacks to supplement provided lunch
An open mind and willingness to connect

Your Questions, Answered
-
Yes, if possible. The in-person immersion creates a container that Zoom can't replicate. However, if you're interstate or international, we can discuss remote options.
-
We iterate. The immersion process means I'm seeing your truth deeply, so we typically need minimal revisions. But we don't move forward until you feel that "yes, this is it" moment.
-
es! Web design is available as an add-on or as part of the Flow & Form Experience.
-
I present 2-3 strong directions based on our immersion. Quality over quantity—these aren't random options, they're strategic expressions of what we discovered. Once you pick a favourite we explore it further until it resonates completely.
