The Concept Behind the Brand
When tasked with creating a prototype brand for my interior design certification, I wanted to explore something that felt both timeless and deeply relevant. Hygge Home Interiors emerged as the perfect vessel—a fictional brand that would allow me to demonstrate the power of cohesive visual storytelling across multiple touchpoints.
This wasn't just about creating pretty pictures; it was about demonstrating how thoughtful brand development creates meaningful connections between an interior design studio and its potential clients. Every element was carefully crafted to showcase not only creative ability but brand integrity throughout the entire client journey.
Building from the Ground Up
Starting with a blank canvas, I designed absolutely everything you see throughout this process—from the initial logo concepts to the final client presentation templates. Each piece was created to reflect the warm, inviting essence of "hygge" while maintaining a sophisticated design sensibility.
The color palette draws from natural, calming tones that invoke the Danish concept of coziness and contentment. Typography choices balance professionalism with approachability, creating materials that feel both expert and welcoming—exactly what clients seek in an interior design partnership.
